Lax.com, the Norwalk-based lacrosse e-retailer and team dealer, has acquired competitor Universal Lacrosse, including its 10 retail stores and team sales division. The deal combines two leading lacrosse-focused ecommerce platforms to expand omnichannel reach, scale team sales capabilities, and strengthen Lax.com's position in the lacrosse market.

Marquis Acquires ZAG Interactive

Marquis Software Solutions, a Plano-based financial marketing and compliance software and services provider backed by Rockbridge Growth Equity, has acquired ZAG Interactive, a Glastonbury, Connecticut-based website design and digital marketing firm that serves community banks and credit unions. The acquisition will combine Marquis' data analytics and compliance capabilities with ZAG's website, SEO, PPC and social media services to expand Marquis' marketing services for financial institutions; terms were not disclosed.

IMG Companies Acquires Larkin Precision Machining
