InMoment has completed the acquisition of Lexalytics to integrate Lexalytics' natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning (ML) text-analytics capabilities into InMoment's XI customer experience (CXM) platform. Lexalytics' team, including founder Jeff Catlin, will remain in place as InMoment expands native text analytics across its platform to support voice-of-customer, voice-of-employee, social listening and other use cases.

Alta Equipment Group Acquires PeakLogix

Alta Equipment Group Inc. has signed a definitive agreement to acquire PeakLogix, a Midlothian, Virginia-based material handling systems integrator that designs and installs warehouse automation and storage systems. The acquisition expands Alta's materials handling capabilities and geographic footprint; PeakLogix generated about $25 million in revenue and $2 million in operating income in FY2019. Terms were not disclosed and the transaction is expected to close by the end of June, subject to customary conditions.

Peak Technologies (Sole Source Capital) Acquires Siena Analytics

Peak Technologies, a portfolio company of Sole Source Capital, has acquired Siena Analytics, a Franklin, Massachusetts-based provider of supply chain and logistics analytics and AI-driven machine vision software. The deal is an add-on acquisition that integrates Siena's proprietary logistics software into Peak's AIDC systems integration offerings to expand capabilities in visibility, automation and micro-fulfillment solutions; financial terms were not disclosed.

UiPath Acquires Peak to Launch Vertically Specialized Agents

Clio Acquires vLex for $1 Billion and Closes $500M Series G at $5B Valuation

Clio completed its US$1 billion acquisition of legal research and AI provider vLex and concurrently closed a US$500 million Series G led by New Enterprise Associates at a US$5 billion valuation. The transaction includes a US$350 million debt facility led by Blackstone and funds managed by Blue Owl Capital, and Oakley Capital (vLex's majority owner) took equity in Clio as part of the deal.
