Mitie has acquired Linx International Group, a UK-based risk management, consulting and security-training business, for £1.2m on a debt-free, cash-free basis. The purchase adds Linx's consulting, technical training (Tavcom) and security management education (PerpetuityARC) capabilities to Mitie's security and intelligence offering to strengthen its risk, assurance and training services ahead of changing legislation such as Protect Duty (Martyn's Law).

Mitie has acquired Esoteric Limited, a UK specialist in counter-espionage and Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM), and will integrate its team into Mitie Security to strengthen the company’s security intelligence and counter-surveillance capabilities. Esoteric founder Emma Shaw will join Mitie Security to lead intelligence security operations, and Mitie will combine Esoteric’s services with its Merlin 24/7 platform to deliver remote monitoring and real-time insights.

ENGIE Ineo Acquires Powerlines from Gilde Buy Out Partners

ENGIE Ineo has agreed to acquire Powerlines, a European full-service provider of electrical rail and high-voltage infrastructure, from funds advised by Gilde Buy Out Partners. Powerlines, headquartered near Vienna and employing more than 1,000 people, will join ENGIE Ineo to create an international platform for transport infrastructure projects and offer turnkey energy and rail electrification solutions.

Allied Industrial Partners Acquires CAT Entertainment Services (rebranded CES Power)

Allied Industrial Partners LLC (AIP) acquired CAT Entertainment Services—a portable/mobile power generation, distribution and temperature control business carved out from Ring Power Corporation—and will rebrand the business as CES Power. Ring Power will retain a minority stake; AIP plans to grow the business as a standalone platform and pursue organic expansion and add-on acquisitions to accelerate growth.
