Tencent Acquires Turtle Rock Studios' Parent Company Slamfire

Tencent Holdings Ltd. has acquired Slamfire, Inc., the parent company of game developer Turtle Rock Studios. Turtle Rock will remain independently operated out of Lake Forest, California, with its existing leadership and team continuing studio operations; the deal expands Tencent's global games portfolio and support for Turtle Rock's future projects.
