Acclaim Technical Services (ATS) has acquired Global Consulting Services, Inc. (GCS), a Rockville, Maryland-based software and systems engineering firm with about 30 employees. The acquisition expands ATS’s mission-technology capabilities—particularly in software development, systems engineering, cloud innovation, configuration/requirements management, and cybersecurity—to better serve Intelligence Community, defense, and law enforcement customers.

General Datatech Acquires MDS Global IT

General Datatech (GDT), a portfolio company of HIG Capital, has acquired MDS Global IT to expand GDT’s collaboration and contact center capabilities, including Cisco Unified Collaboration and Unified Contact Center Enterprise expertise. The acquisition adds MDS’s customers across healthcare, retail, banking, technology, and manufacturing to GDT’s client base and strengthens GDT’s global service delivery and scale. Kratos Capital acted as exclusive M&A advisor to MDS; the deal closed on September 24, 2024.

TSG Acquires Adaptive Analytics

GFT Technologies SE Acquires Sophos Solutions from Advent International

GFT Technologies SE agreed to acquire 100% of Colombia-based core banking specialist Sophos Solutions S.A.S. from Advent International, expanding GFT’s core banking, AI and cloud modernisation capabilities and boosting its presence across Latin America. The deal adds roughly 1,700 employees to GFT (increasing headcount by almost 20%) and positions GFT among the top three banking IT services providers in Latin America; the transaction was expected to close in early February 2024.
