CVC Capital Partners Acquires 49% Stake in Star Vision (OLENS)

CVC Capital Partners has acquired a 49% stake in Star Vision, the operator of Korea’s colour contact lens brand OLENS, from existing investors PS Alliance and Pearl Investment in a deal valuing the company in the upper KRW 600 billion range. CVC will partner with Star Vision to accelerate the OLENS brand’s global expansion — the company currently operates over 400 outlets across Asia, including recent entry into Japan and locations in Hong Kong and Taiwan.
