Frontline Road Safety Acquires Peek Pavement Marking

Frontline Road Safety has acquired Peek Pavement Marking, a family-owned pavement marking and road safety services provider based in Columbus, Georgia. The acquisition expands Frontline's presence in the Southeast and is its tenth add-on since receiving a strategic growth investment from Bain Capital earlier this year; financial terms were not disclosed.

Bain Capital Acquires Frontline Road Safety from The Sterling Group

Bain Capital Private Equity has agreed to acquire Frontline Road Safety, the largest U.S. provider of pavement marking and roadway safety services, from The Sterling Group. Frontline, headquartered in Denver with over 50 locations and approximately 1,750 employees, will continue to be led by CEO Mitch Williams and the existing management team, which will remain significant investors; financial terms were not disclosed.

Frontline Road Safety Acquires PK Contracting

Frontline Road Safety, a platform backed by The Sterling Group, has acquired PK Contracting, a Troy, Michigan-based pavement marking and safety marking services provider with seven Michigan locations and three Florida locations (operating as McShea Contracting). The deal is Frontline’s sixth add-on since the platform launch in July 2020 and expands the platform’s footprint into Michigan and Florida while retaining PK’s existing management team.

Frontline Road Safety Acquires American Roadway Logistics from Monroe Street Partners

ARL, a Norton, Ohio-based provider of pavement marking and traffic maintenance services, will continue operating with its existing team while benefiting from Frontline's scale, resources and geographic reach. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Frontline Road Safety, a portfolio company of The Sterling Group, has completed the acquisition of The Aero-Mark Company, a Streetsboro, Ohio-based pavement marking contractor with an additional location in Cincinnati. The deal is an add-on to Frontline’s platform (its twelfth acquisition since July 2020) and is intended to expand the platform’s Midwest footprint and service capabilities in road safety and infrastructure maintenance.
