Gravity, a Tampa-based provider of disclosure and budgeting automation for governments, has acquired Cityspan, a Berkeley, California-based provider of cloud-based grants management and performance measurement systems. The deal expands Gravity's platform to include end-to-end grants lifecycle management and performance tools, enabling integrated budgeting, reporting, grants, and citizen engagement for public-sector customers.

Lead Edge Capital Acquires ClearGov and Merges It with Gravity

Lead Edge Capital has acquired ClearGov and merged it with its existing portfolio company Gravity to create a unified, end-to-end modern finance platform for local governments, school districts, and state agencies. The combined business will operate under the ClearGov brand, with Tyler Davey (former Gravity CEO) leading the organization and ClearGov co-founders remaining in leadership roles.

Granicus Acquires SmartGov from Brightly Software (a Siemens company)
