Ascent Lifting, a Shorehill Capital-backed distributor and fabricator of lifting and rigging products, completed the acquisition of Cargo Control USA on March 1, 2023. The add-on deal expands Ascent Lifting's product offering, production and warehouse capacity and extends its geographic reach into Sanford, North Carolina.

Forward Air Acquires CLW Delivery, Inc.

Forward Air Corporation entered into an agreement to acquire the assets of CLW Delivery, Inc. for $5.5 million in cash, a transaction expected to close in October 2020. The acquisition expands Forward Air’s Final Mile footprint into 14 additional markets and adds CLW’s in-home installation capabilities; CLW is expected to contribute about $20 million of revenue and $1 million of EBITDA on an annualized basis.

Magnate Worldwide Acquires Cargo Logistics Group

Link Reservations, Inc. (OTC PINK: LRSV) completed the acquisition of Global Enterprises & Logistics, Inc. via a Share Exchange Agreement dated March 3, 2023, making Global a wholly owned subsidiary. Global is a South Florida-based refrigerated freight forwarder and logistics provider serving wholesale, retail and hospitality customers with over 70 employees and a fleet of refrigerated tractor-trailers; Link said the acquisition supports diversification and its plans to become a reporting company and up-list.

Sheer Logistics Acquires CargoBarn

Sheer Logistics has acquired tech-enabled 3PL and freight brokerage CargoBarn to deepen its 3PL/managed transportation and freight brokerage capabilities. The deal expands Sheer's geographic footprint (adding CargoBarn offices in Fresno, Atlanta, Dallas and Jacksonville) and strengthens its ability to offer managed services and brokerage specialty lanes; terms were not disclosed.

Terra Worldwide Logistics Acquires Connect Global Logistics

Connect Global Logistics will operate under the American Global Logistics tradename and founder Kim Malloy has joined TWL as President of the CGL division; the deal is an add-on to TWL/AGL's logistics platform to expand capabilities and customer reach.
