Seequent, a business unit of Bentley Systems, has acquired Aarhus GeoSoftware, a Denmark-based developer of geophysical data processing and inversion software. The acquisition adds AGS Workbench and related tools to Seequent's subsurface modeling ecosystem (Leapfrog), expanding capabilities for groundwater management, environmental monitoring, mining, and infrastructure risk assessment.

The deal closed after German regulatory approval in June/July 2022 and was completed alongside a new equity investment in AMCS from Clearlake Capital and co-investments from Insight Partners, Ireland Strategic Investment Fund and Highland Europe.
