AAPA Acquires PharmaSynergy, LLC

The Association of Affiliated Pharmacies and Apothecaries (AAPA) has acquired PharmaSynergy, LLC, a Philadelphia-based independent pharmacy purchasing alliance founded by Anthony Petillo. The deal merges PharmaSynergy's Mid-Atlantic, Northeastern and Southeastern membership with AAPA's national independent pharmacy GPO, expanding AAPA's member base and service capabilities for independent pharmacies.
