AeroVironment to Acquire Tomahawk Robotics for $120 Million

AeroVironment announced its anticipated acquisition of Tomahawk Robotics, acquiring 100% of Tomahawk Robotics’ equity for a total purchase price of $120 million paid in a mix of cash and stock. The deal is intended to deepen integration between AeroVironment’s unmanned systems and Tomahawk Robotics’ AI-enabled robotic control technology to improve interoperability across connected unmanned systems.

AeroVironment Acquires Arcturus UAV for $405M

AeroVironment, Inc. (NASDAQ: AVAV) will acquire Arcturus UAV, Inc., a Petaluma, California–based developer and manufacturer of Group 2 and 3 unmanned aircraft systems, for a total purchase price of $405 million (approximately $355 million cash and $50 million in AeroVironment stock). The acquisition expands AeroVironment's product portfolio into higher-value Group 2 and 3 UAS segments, adds Arcturus’s ~270 employees and COCO services capability, and is expected to be accretive to adjusted EBITDA and GAAP EPS in fiscal 2022.
