Alera Group, a national employee benefits and insurance firm based in Deerfield, Illinois, acquired Fall River Employee Benefits, a Denver-based benefits brokerage, effective March 1, 2020. Fall River will join Alera through Benefit Commerce Group to expand Alera's capabilities and regional presence on the Colorado Front Range; terms were not disclosed.
