Alera Group, a national insurance and wealth services firm, has acquired Sutter, McLellan & Gilbreath, an independent insurance agency serving Metro Atlanta and statewide Georgia. The acquisition expands Alera Group’s presence in Georgia and adds employee benefits and property & casualty capabilities to its platform; terms were not disclosed.
