DP World via P&O Maritime Logistics Acquires 51% of NovaAlgoma Cement Assets (NACC)

NovaAlgoma Cement Carriers Limited, a joint venture between Algoma Central Corporation and Nova Marine Holdings, entered a definitive agreement under which P&O Maritime Logistics (POML), a DP World wholly owned subsidiary, will acquire a 51% controlling stake in NovaAlgoma’s wholly owned cement assets. NovaAlgoma will retain a 49% minority interest through a new entity based in Dubai (NACC), with no expected changes to day-to-day vessel operations and fleet management teams.

Walstrom Marine Acquires Algonac Harbour Club

Walstrom Marine has acquired Algonac Harbour Club, a family-owned full-service marina on the St. Clair River in Algonac, Michigan. The investor group led by Continuum Ventures (the DeVos family office) — which previously invested in Walstrom Marine — and several family investors will own the marina; founder Peter Beauregard Sr. will serve as a consultant and Pete Beauregard Jr. will retain an ownership stake.

Lemnis Acquires Mainstay to Expand Higher Education Support

Inc., a family-owned distributor of water, wastewater, storm drainage and irrigation products headquartered in Lakeland, Georgia. The acquisition expands Core & Main's footprint and resources across the southeastern U.S., adding Lanier's locations in Lakeland and Savannah, Georgia and Panama City and Lake City, Florida.
