The add-on expands Amplix’s cybersecurity capabilities—adding services such as program development, risk assessments, vCISO advisory, incident response planning, security testing, and managed security operations—to better support clients across regulated and non-regulated industries.

Sigma7 Acquires Alaco Limited

Sigma7, a Growth Catalyst Partners-backed risk information and services platform, has acquired Alaco Limited, a London-based business intelligence and strategic intelligence advisory firm, from co-founders Amy Lashinsky and Ambrose Carey. The add-on expands Sigma7’s global risk and intelligence capabilities and will see Alaco integrate with Sigma7’s group while key practice leaders remain in place.

Apax Partners Acquires Alcumus from Inflexion for over £600m

Funds advised by Apax Partners LLP have agreed to acquire Alcumus from Inflexion for a transaction valuing Alcumus at over £600 million, generating a 5.9x return for Inflexion. Alcumus, a Cardiff-based provider of technology-led risk management and compliance solutions that has transitioned to a SaaS model, was backed by Inflexion since 2015 and expanded internationally through strategic acquisitions and organic growth.
