Ankura Acquires Chartwell Compliance from MVB Financial

Ankura Consulting Group has acquired Chartwell Compliance, a regulatory compliance and risk management firm formerly owned by MVB Financial Corp./MVB Bank. The deal expands Ankura's Global Anti-Financial Crime practice and strengthens its banking and fintech compliance, licensing, and AML advisory capabilities; Chartwell's ~60 employees join Ankura's Risk, Forensics & Compliance Group.
