Fire & Life Safety America Acquires Mid State Fire Equipment

(a subsidiary of Summit Fire & Security LLC) completed the acquisition of Mid State Fire Equipment, Inc., a family-owned fire protection sales and service firm in Lake Placid, Florida, effective February 7, 2022. The deal brings a new Lake Placid location to Summit's Florida footprint (now seven locations) and transitions ownership from founders Bill and Ellie Johnson as they retire.
