Apollo Funds Acquire Majority Stake in Composite Advanced Technologies (CATEC)

Apollo-managed funds have acquired a majority interest in Composite Advanced Technologies, Inc. (CATEC), a Houston-based manufacturer of Type IV compressed gas transportation and storage solutions for CNG, RNG and hydrogen. Apollo plans to invest additional capital to scale CATEC into a leading gaseous equipment manufacturing and services platform supporting the hydrogen and low-carbon fuel markets.
