Apollo Funds Agree to Buy Majority Stake in OEG Energy Group

Apollo funds and affiliates have agreed to acquire a majority stake in OEG Energy Group, an offshore energy solutions provider serving oil and gas and offshore wind. The deal values OEG at over $1 billion on a headline basis and is expected to close in Q2 2025, subject to regulatory approvals and other closing conditions.

Hale Capital Partners Acquires Majority Stake in Athenium

The deal transfers ownership of CMG’s television and radio stations, Ohio newspapers, CoxReps and Gamut digital/OTT advertising businesses to the Apollo-backed company, which will continue to operate as Cox Media Group headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia.

ChyronHego Acquires Newsroom Solutions
