Ara Partners has made a majority growth equity investment in Wattstor, a UK-based provider of automated energy management and battery storage technology. Existing investor janom retains a minority stake; Wattstor will use the funding to expand across Europe, launch an Energy-as-a-Service (EaaS) finance offering, boost R&D and grow the team.
