Triton has merged four of its portfolio companies—AVS Group, Chevron TM, Fero Group and Ramudden—into a single group to create an international leader in traffic and critical infrastructure safety services. The consolidation combines local market leaders across Germany, the UK, Belgium and the Nordics to drive international growth, operational synergies and further consolidation in the sector; combined sales are stated at more than EUR 450m.

AVS Verkehrssicherung, a Triton Fund IV portfolio company, has signed an agreement to acquire SRV Verkehrstechnik GmbH, a provider of permanent and temporary road marking and construction site traffic safety services based in Limbach-Oberfrohna, Germany. SRV employs 26 people and the acquisition is intended to expand AVS's regional service portfolio and consolidate traffic-safety capabilities across the group.

AVS Verkehrssicherung, a Triton Fund IV portfolio company, has signed an agreement to acquire Gerding GmbH Verkehrstechnik and MIS GmbH (together “Gerding/MIS”). The companies are based in Senden/Münsterland, Germany, and provide traffic engineering services including traffic signage and mobile traffic jam warning systems. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The deal — subject to antitrust approval — expands AVS's service capabilities and regional coverage; terms were not disclosed.

AVS Verkehrssicherung Acquires Majority Stake in Fero Group

AVS Verkehrssicherung, a Triton Fund IV company, has agreed to acquire a majority share in Belgium-based Fero Group from the founding Haerens family. Fero is a leading provider of temporary traffic management, road marking and traffic signage with more than 300 employees across multiple locations in Flanders and Wallonia; the transaction strengthens AVS's European footprint in work-zone safety and is subject to regulatory approval.
