LDC, the private equity arm of Lloyds Banking Group, has taken an investment stake in the Building Cost Information Service (BCIS), enabling BCIS to become an independent company while the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) retains a minority share. The funding will support further investment in BCIS's technology platform, data assets and online services to enhance its cost benchmarking and valuation offerings for the construction, facilities management and insurance sectors.

Integrated Specialty Coverages (ISC), a PE-backed program administrator, has acquired California Contractors Insurance Services (CCIS), a Sacramento-based licensed construction bond and insurance agency. The acquisition will expand ISC's licensed bond, general liability, contract surety and workers' compensation capabilities by combining CCIS's contractor distribution network with ISC's AI-driven underwriting and analytics platform. CCMP Capital to Acquire BGIS from Brookfield Business Partners

CCMP Capital Advisors, LP agreed to acquire BGIS, a global integrated facilities management company, from Brookfield Business Partners for approximately US$1 billion. BGIS—headquartered in Toronto with over 7,000 employees and operations across Australia, Asia, North America and Europe—will remain led by CEO Gordon Hicks as CCMP partners with management to support further growth and innovation.
