Funds advised by Apax Partners have completed the acquisition of Coalfire, a cybersecurity advisory and assessment services firm, from The Carlyle Group and The Chertoff Group. Terms were not disclosed; Coalfire (Apax-backed) said the deal will combine ThreadFix and Denim's consulting services with Coalfire's cloud and AppSec offerings to scale vulnerability management across the software development lifecycle.
