Coalfire Acquires Veris Group

Coalfire has acquired Veris Group, a provider of cyber risk advisory, compliance assessment, technical testing, and security engineering services, to broaden its cybersecurity capabilities. The deal was funded in part by new equity investments from The Carlyle Group and affiliates of The Chertoff Group (with Baird Capital noted as a partner), positioning the combined business as one of the largest providers of cyber risk, FedRAMP, and payment-card assessment services.

Apax Acquires CyberGrants from Waud Capital Partners

Apax Funds Acquires Altus Fire & Life Safety from AE Industrial Partners

Apax will partner with Altus management to accelerate geographic expansion, invest in sales and product capabilities, and pursue further M&A; AE Industrial Partners was the selling shareholder and Altus was advised by Lincoln International.

Coalfire Acquires Denim Group

Coalfire acquired Denim Group, a San Antonio–based application security firm and maker of the ThreadFix ASOC platform, to expand its AppSec and DevSecOps capabilities. Terms were not disclosed; Coalfire (Apax-backed) said the deal will combine ThreadFix and Denim's consulting services with Coalfire's cloud and AppSec offerings to scale vulnerability management across the software development lifecycle.

Coalfire Acquires Neuralys Corporation
