The transaction—funded by a Series H led by Haveli Investments with participation from multiple existing and new investors—scales Cohesity's AI-powered data security and management portfolio, expands workload support (including Veritas NetBackup and appliances), and positions Sanjay Poonen to lead the combined company.

Veritas Capital Acquires Sequa Corporation (Chromalloy) from Carlyle

Veritas Capital, through an affiliate, has entered into an agreement to acquire Sequa Corporation, the parent of Chromalloy, from funds managed by Carlyle. Chromalloy, headquartered in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, is a leading provider of engine and gas turbine parts, repairs and related manufacturing capabilities; Veritas intends to invest in its proprietary LifeX solutions and accelerate growth.

Coalfire Acquires Neuralys Corporation

Skyview Capital Acquires Fidelis Cybersecurity

Skyview Capital, a Los Angeles–headquartered private investment firm, has acquired Fidelis Cybersecurity, Inc. from a consortium of investors; terms were not disclosed. Fidelis is a provider of threat detection, hunting, and response solutions (including managed detection and response) with more than 250 employees, and Skyview said it will support the company’s growth and pursue further opportunities in the IT security sector.
