Erik Mitchell, founder of Seek Data, will join Knoema as Chief Strategy Officer to oversee commercial and product strategy for the combined firm.

Bloomfire Acquires Seva

Bloomfire, the Austin-based knowledge management SaaS provider, has acquired Seva, a conversational AI customer-support SaaS company, to integrate Seva’s generative-AI and federated-search capabilities into Bloomfire’s platform. As part of the deal, Seva founder Sanjay Jain will join Bloomfire as Chief Technology Officer; Primus Capital acted as transaction advisor to Bloomfire.

The deal (terms undisclosed) and new partnerships with Snowflake and NetApp aim to strengthen Diskover's usability, natural-language AI capabilities, and integrations for enterprise AI data pipelines.
