Gemini Investors Recapitalizes American Standard Circuits and Acquires The Cable Company

Gemini Investors completed two investments: a recapitalization of American Standard Circuits (a U.S.-based printed circuit board designer and manufacturer) alongside management, and the acquisition of The Cable Company (a specialty online retailer of high-end audio/video cables). Gemini will partner with ASC's management to support the company's manufacturing operations across defense, aerospace, automotive, medical and industrial end markets and will operate The Cable Company as a consumer-facing e-commerce business serving audiophiles.

Summit Interconnect Acquires Royal Circuit Solutions and Advanced Assembly

Summit Interconnect has acquired Royal Circuit Solutions (headquartered in Hollister, California) and affiliate Advanced Assembly (Aurora, Colorado), expanding Summit's footprint to eight manufacturing facilities across North America. The deal broadens Summit's PCB product offering into rigid, flex, rigid/flex and ATE PCBs and adds quick-turn prototype SMT assembly and strengthened engineering/CAM/DFM capabilities.

Sunstone Partners Makes Growth Investment in Accuhealth

As part of the investment, Chris Schmaltz will join as Executive Chairman and Jennifer (Jeni) Bahr will join as CFO to help accelerate Accuhealth's growth and product/service expansion across physician practices and health systems.

East West Manufacturing Acquires General Microcircuits (GMI)

(GMI), a provider of advanced electronics manufacturing services with facilities in Mooresville, North Carolina and San Jose, Costa Rica. The deal expands East West’s on‑shore and near‑shore manufacturing capabilities, adding PCB assembly, box‑build, testing and new product introduction services to its global design, manufacturing and distribution platform.

Micro-Precision Technologies Acquires Stellar Manufacturing

Micro-Precision Technologies, a PE-backed micro‑electronics manufacturer, has acquired Stellar Manufacturing, a printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) provider headquartered in Salem, New Hampshire. The deal — completed in early October — expands MPT's micro‑electronics platform capabilities and was executed after MPT partnered with private equity firm Great River Capital Partners in mid‑2024; terms were not disclosed.

Circet USA Acquires Gemini Communications (Blue Streak and CCU) to Expand OSP Services

Circet USA has completed the acquisition of Gemini Communications and its subsidiaries Blue Streak and CCU, bringing the combined Blue Streak/CCU workforce to more than 700 employees. The deal expands Circet USA’s outside plant (OSP) construction, maintenance and restoration capabilities to provide a broader end-to-end OSP services offering to major U.S. communications operators.
