Macquarie Asset Management-led consortium to acquire further 20% stake in National Gas

A consortium led by Macquarie Asset Management has agreed to acquire an additional 20% equity interest in National Gas from National Grid, taking the consortium's total ownership to 80%. Funds advised by Triton have signed an agreement to sell EQOS, a European specialty installation and service company focused on energy, telecoms and rail infrastructure, to Eiffage Énergie Systèmes. Terms were not disclosed; under Triton EQOS reached ~EUR 459m revenue and ~1,700 employees, and Eiffage said the acquisition will help it enter and densify energy infrastructure markets in Germany and Austria.
