Francisco Partners Acquires MyHeritage

Francisco Partners has signed a definitive agreement to acquire MyHeritage, the Israel-headquartered subscription-based genealogy and consumer genomics platform. Several of MyHeritage's existing investors — including HP Beteiligungs GmbH, Yuval Rakavy, founder Gilad Japhet and investor Gigi Levy — will reinvest alongside Francisco Partners to support the company's next phase of growth.

Ancestry has acquired iMemories, a Scottsdale-based leader in analog media digitization and cloud-based preservation, from investors Landon Capital Partners and Greens Farms Capital. The deal brings iMemories' AI-enhanced scanning and subscription media services into Ancestry's family-history platform to let customers digitize and integrate photos, videos, slides and films into their family trees.

Scribeur's founder Sébastien Raynoird-Thal will become Country Manager for Contents France and Scribeur staff will be integrated with no layoffs; legal advisors on the deal included Taylor Wessing LLP and EY Advisory SpA.

Laboratoires Lehning Acquires Laboratoire Lescuyer from Abenex

Groupe Lehning (Laboratoires Lehning) has acquired French dietary-supplements maker Laboratoire Lescuyer from private equity firm Abenex; Abenex and co-investors Bpifrance and Ouest Croissance sold their entire stakes. Isabelle de Carmantrand and the Lescuyer family reinvested alongside the buyer; the deal is intended to combine complementary therapeutic areas and distribution channels to accelerate brand growth.
