Trimac Transportation Acquires Service Transport Company

Trimac Transportation has acquired Service Transport Company (STC), a Houston-based chemical tank carrier, effective Oct. 1, 2025. The deal expands Trimac's chemical hauling footprint across the U.S. Gulf Coast by adding STC's fleet, 16 locations, four tank wash facilities and roughly 400 employees.

Tank Transport, Inc., a West Chester, Ohio-based liquid bulk chemical transport company operating eight terminals and three ISO container depots across the Southeast and Midwest. The deal brings roughly 175 drivers and 70 operational/administrative employees into KAG, and adds about 100 tractors and 500 trailers/chassis while expanding KAG’s chemical tanking, ISO container storage/maintenance, and related service capabilities.
