Trucking & Fleet Acquisitions in 2025

Voyager Trucking Corporation has acquired Vision Transport, a Fairview-based regional hauler that serves municipal solid waste customers across New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. The combination creates a larger Mid‑Atlantic waste transportation platform, expands Voyager's fleet and capabilities, and will keep the Vision brand and employees in place with Tim Markoglu continuing in a senior executive role.

Equity Group Investments (EGI) has made an investment in CIT Trucks, a commercial truck dealer headquartered in Normal, Illinois. EGI will partner with CIT's senior management (who retain an ownership stake) to support growth and expansion across the Midwest as the current CEO retires and the president assumes the CEO role.

Trimac Transportation has acquired Service Transport Company (STC), a Houston-based chemical tank carrier, effective Oct. 1, 2025. The deal expands Trimac's chemical hauling footprint across the U.S. Gulf Coast by adding STC's fleet, 16 locations, four tank wash facilities and roughly 400 employees.

Amerit Fleet Solutions has acquired Derotic Emergency Equipment, a California-based upfitter of fire, police, emergency and utility vehicles. The business will be integrated into Vector Fleet Management (an Amerit company) to expand Vector and Amerit's government vehicle upfitting and nationwide fleet services capabilities.

Pinch Transport has acquired Levinge Freight Lines for an undisclosed amount to expand its flatbed less-than-truckload (LTL) and truckload services into additional oilfield markets. The deal broadens Pinch’s geographic footprint across multiple states while retaining Levinge leadership and integrating operations to achieve scale and efficiency.

SYCN Auto Logistics, Rite Way Auto Transport Group, and Mercury Auto Transport have merged to form a combined, founder‑led auto transport management company headquartered in Florida that will handle over 25,000 vehicle moves per month. The combined business will operate under a unified technology platform while maintaining each brand, expanding national coverage and capabilities across consumer, dealer/OEM, fleet and oversized-vehicle segments.

Guardian Fleet Services announced a strategic partnership/merger with Howard's Wrecker Service of Smyrna, Georgia, bringing the long-established towing and recovery operator into Guardian's national platform. Phil Howard will remain as President to help lead the business as Guardian expands its service footprint in the Atlanta market to better serve municipalities, public safety agencies and commercial customers.

Roebling Capital Partners has led a strategic growth investment in White Stone Fleet Service, LLC, a Hamilton, Ohio–based mobile fleet maintenance provider. The capital will support White Stone's geographic expansion across the Midwest, technology adoption, talent recruitment, and potential strategic acquisitions while the existing leadership team remains in place.

Armour Excavating LLC, a Texas-based excavating and aggregate materials provider, has acquired R Cedar LLC dba Buck Valley Trucking, a Center Point, Texas hauling company. The acquisition expands Armour’s geographic footprint into Center Point and adds aggregate hauling capabilities and customer relationships to its services.

Stonepeak has partnered with Dupré Logistics, a Lafayette, Louisiana-based transportation company that operates more than 700 trucks and 1,000 professional drivers, to invest in and grow Dupré's nationwide energy distribution, private fleet and brokerage services. The Dupré family will remain shareholders and Stonepeak has appointed Chris Sower as interim CEO to support the company's next phase of growth; terms were not disclosed.

The Kenan Advantage Group, Inc. (KAG) has acquired M.C. Tank Transport, Inc., a West Chester, Ohio-based liquid bulk chemical transport company operating eight terminals and three ISO container depots across the Southeast and Midwest. The deal brings roughly 175 drivers and 70 operational/administrative employees into KAG, and adds about 100 tractors and 500 trailers/chassis while expanding KAG’s chemical tanking, ISO container storage/maintenance, and related service capabilities.

FleetPride, the nation’s largest independent distributor of aftermarket heavy-duty parts and service, has acquired OTR Fleet Service LLC, a Houston-headquartered mobile and fixed-location fleet maintenance provider with service centers in Dallas, Houston and San Antonio and more than 30 mobile units. The acquisition expands FleetPride’s service footprint and mobile maintenance capabilities across key Texas markets and provides OTR customers access to FleetPride’s nationwide parts, digital commerce and training resources.

Trimac Transportation has acquired Watt & Stewart Commodities Inc., a flatbed and specialized carrier, effective Jan. 15, 2025. The deal expands Trimac’s flatbed capabilities and market coverage across mining, forestry and heavy equipment transport in Canada and the United States; Watt & Stewart will retain its name and operate within Trimac’s Family of Companies.
