Trucking & Fleet Acquisitions in Texas

Trimac Transportation has acquired Service Transport Company (STC), a Houston-based chemical tank carrier, effective Oct. 1, 2025. The deal expands Trimac's chemical hauling footprint across the U.S. Gulf Coast by adding STC's fleet, 16 locations, four tank wash facilities and roughly 400 employees.

Pinch Transport has acquired Levinge Freight Lines for an undisclosed amount to expand its flatbed less-than-truckload (LTL) and truckload services into additional oilfield markets. The deal broadens Pinch’s geographic footprint across multiple states while retaining Levinge leadership and integrating operations to achieve scale and efficiency.

Armour Excavating LLC, a Texas-based excavating and aggregate materials provider, has acquired R Cedar LLC dba Buck Valley Trucking, a Center Point, Texas hauling company. The acquisition expands Armour’s geographic footprint into Center Point and adds aggregate hauling capabilities and customer relationships to its services.

FleetPride, the nation’s largest independent distributor of aftermarket heavy-duty parts and service, has acquired OTR Fleet Service LLC, a Houston-headquartered mobile and fixed-location fleet maintenance provider with service centers in Dallas, Houston and San Antonio and more than 30 mobile units. The acquisition expands FleetPride’s service footprint and mobile maintenance capabilities across key Texas markets and provides OTR customers access to FleetPride’s nationwide parts, digital commerce and training resources.

Guardian Fleet Services, a West Palm Beach-based provider of towing, recovery and specialized transportation services, has acquired Isaacs Wrecker Service, a Tyler, Texas-based towing and specialized transportation operator. The deal expands Guardian's Texas footprint to 11 terminals, adds Isaacs' fleet and 75 employees, and strengthens the company's coverage along the I-20 corridor and East Texas markets.

Privately held 3PL Warehouse Services Inc. (WSI) has acquired El Paso-based Sky Trans Group Holdings, LLC (Sky Transportation Services), a regional truckload carrier focused on dry‑van and US–Mexico cross‑border freight. The deal is expected to add over $60 million in annual revenue to WSI and expand its cross‑border and Southwestern U.S. trucking capabilities, with Sky's CEO Albert Luna remaining in a leadership role.

RWC International (RWC Group) has agreed to acquire selected assets, related real estate and the school bus sales and full-service leasing operations of Kyrish Truck Centers, a Texas-based commercial truck dealer operating 19 locations. The transaction, a sale of assets by the Kyrish family, strengthens RWC's footprint in Texas and adds dealership, leasing and school-bus capabilities to its multi-state dealer group; a tentative closing date was set for Dec. 31.

Online Transport, Inc. has acquired Mustang Express, LTD, an asset-based over-the-road trucking and 3PL provider based in El Paso, Texas. The deal — advised on the sell-side by Kreshmore Group — expands Online's geographic coverage and routings with Mustang's fleet and over 60 drivers, and closed May 19, 2023.

Merx Truck & Trailer has acquired North Texas Fleet Services, a Garland, Texas-based fleet maintenance and repair provider, expanding Merx's geographic footprint into Texas. Terms were not disclosed; Roadmap Advisors served as financial advisor and McCarthy Duffy LLP acted as legal advisor.

Armour Excavating LLC, a Kerrville, Texas provider of excavating, cedar clearing, and aggregate delivery services, has acquired John D. Adams Trucking d/b/a JDAT, an aggregate delivery trucking company based in Kerrville, TX. The founder, John "JD" Adams, will remain involved as the businesses are combined to expand Armour Excavating's delivery capacity and service offerings for construction and aggregate customers.

FleetPride, the nation's largest distributor of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts and services, has acquired the assets of Sam & Sons Truck Equipment of Houston from the Olivo family. The acquisition adds a 26,000-square-foot location with specialized liftgate repair and an onsite 100-foot paint booth, expands FleetPride's Houston footprint and preserves roles for the site's 35+ local employees.

Boxwheel Trailer Leasing, a Denver-based semi-trailer rental and leasing operator backed by Crosstimbers Capital Group, acquired the assets of Fleet Trailer Leasing in El Paso, Texas. The acquisition expands Boxwheel's geographic footprint into the El Paso/Juarez market and follows prior branch acquisitions as the company grows its rental and leasing network.

FleetPride, Inc. has acquired the assets of Jim's Truck & Trailer Equipment in Wichita Falls, Texas, a business founded in 1971 and owned by Jim Martin. The acquisition expands FleetPride's parts and service footprint in north Texas and southwest Oklahoma and adds the Wichita Falls branch as the company's 60th service center.

American Trailer Rental Group (ATRG), backed by private equity sponsor Milton Street Capital, has acquired the rental fleet and location of Ervin Equipment in Laredo, Texas. The acquisition expands ATRG's Advantage Trailer Rental presence in south Texas as part of an ongoing roll-up strategy.

FleetPride, Inc. has acquired the assets of Powers Diesel Service in Seminole, Texas, bringing FleetPride's Texas footprint to 27 locations and increasing company-owned service centers. The Powers family will remain involved with Casey Powers managing day-to-day operations as FleetPride expands parts and service offerings in the region.

Grammer Industries, a Stellex Capital-backed hazardous materials transportation and logistics company, has acquired LiMarCo Logistics, a regional LPG/NGL hauler based in Houston with a terminal in Corpus Christi. The acquisition (closed December 6, 2019) adds 26 tractors, 41 trailers and 15 independent contractors to Grammer's NGL division and expands Grammer's footprint in Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma.

Innovation Group (LSE: TIG) has acquired Texas-based Driven Solutions, Inc., a provider of emergency roadside and towing services supporting insurers, fleets and auto club programs in the U.S. and Canada. Driven's senior management, including CEO Craig Hamway, will join Innovation Group and the business will continue to operate from its Texas location; Preston Todd Advisors advised Innovation Group on the transaction.
