Foursquare Acquires Placed from Snap Inc.

Foursquare has signed an agreement to acquire Placed from Snap Inc., adding Placed Attribution to Foursquare’s location technology product suite. The deal is supported by a $150 million investment in Foursquare led by The Raine Group to fund the acquisition and accelerate R&D; Placed founder David Shim will join Foursquare’s executive team.

LightBox Acquires UrbanFootprint
