Shopify Acquires 6 River Systems

Shopify Inc. has completed its acquisition of 6 River Systems, adding the company’s cloud-based fulfillment software and fleet of collaborative mobile robots to the Shopify Fulfillment Network. The 6 River Systems team of more than 130 employees will remain in Waltham, Massachusetts, and the company’s brand and operations will continue as Shopify expands its fulfillment capabilities.

YouMail Acquires PhoneTag

YouMail, a cloud-based communications and robocall-protection provider based in Irvine, California, acquired PhoneTag, a direct-to-consumer voicemail transcription and subscription service founded in 2003. The PhoneTag service has been migrated onto YouMail's communications platform to give PhoneTag customers enhanced call-handling, robocall and phishing protection, and access to YouMail's virtual number and virtual receptionist features. Financial terms and seller details were not disclosed.
