Bates Group, a financial services consulting firm based in Lake Oswego, Oregon, has acquired The Advisor's Resource, Inc. (TARI), a Houston-based compliance consulting firm. The deal expands Bates Group's Bates Compliance practice, adding regulatory compliance expertise and client relationships with RIAs, private equity, and hedge funds across Texas, the South, and nationwide.
