Better Collective has acquired South Florida–based sports and entertainment media platform Playmaker HQ for up to $54.0 million (including a $15.0 million upfront cash payment and performance-based earnouts). The acquisition expands Better Collective’s social media presence, content production capabilities and advertiser sponsorship monetization by adding Playmaker’s creator talent, large social following and U.S. distribution reach.
