Blade Air Mobility, Inc. entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the asset-light commercial passenger transport activities of Monacair SAM and Héli Sécurité, along with a third prominent European helicopter operator. Blade will become the exclusive customer of the acquired air carriers, while the carriers retain fleet ownership and operate only the scheduled by-the-seat and charter services in southern Europe as Blade rolls out branded services and branded terminals.
