Bluestar Alliance Acquires Off-White LLC from LVMH

Bluestar Alliance, LLC has acquired Off-White LLC, the company that owns the Off-White brand, from LVMH; terms were not disclosed. Bluestar — joined in related financing and co-investment activity by Hilco Global and TPG Angelo Gordon — said it will invest in and build on Virgil Abloh’s legacy while leveraging its global brand-management capabilities.

Palmex and Benestar Brands Merge; Wind Point Majority, Highlander Retains Minority; Pretzilla Spun Out

Wind Point Partners’ portfolio company Palmex has merged with Highlander Partners’ portfolio company Benestar Brands to form a combined North American salty-snack platform, with Wind Point as the majority shareholder and Highlander retaining a significant minority stake. Pretzilla, Benestar’s pretzel bread business, was spun out as a standalone entity owned by Highlander and Pretzilla management; the combined business will be led by Jose Luis Prado and will operate eight facilities with more than 1,400 employees.

Bluestar Alliance Acquires Scotch & Soda

Bluestar Alliance, a New York–based brand management firm, has acquired Amsterdam-based fashion brand Scotch & Soda from the bankrupt entities to preserve the brand and continue operations across key markets. Terms were not disclosed; the deal follows Scotch & Soda's bankruptcy filing in the Netherlands after severe cash-flow issues and will allow Bluestar to integrate the label into its portfolio and stabilise selected retail operations.

Emerald Textiles Acquires West Coast Assets of Angelica Corporation

Emerald Textiles, a portfolio company of Pacific Avenue Capital Partners, acquired the West Coast assets of Angelica Corporation, including nine facilities that expand Emerald into Phoenix and Las Vegas and strengthen its Northern and Southern California footprint. The deal grows Emerald's network to 15 plants and 2 service depots (serving nearly 2,000 customer sites) and further establishes the company as the largest healthcare linen services provider in the Western United States.

Highline Warren Acquires BlueDevil Products

Highline Warren, a Memphis-based manufacturer and distributor of automotive consumable products and a portfolio company of Pritzker Private Capital, has acquired BlueDevil Products from The Starco Group. The deal adds the BlueDevil, Red Angel, and PJ1 brands to Highline Warren’s portfolio to expand its automotive aftermarket product offerings and distribution reach.
