The purchase transfers key staff and production to Koozie Group's Sleepy Eye, Minnesota facility and aims to strengthen Koozie Group's position as a leading supplier of promotional calendars in North America.

Skerritts Acquires Ellis Bates Financial Advisers

Skerritts, the Sovereign Capital Partners-backed UK wealth management group, has agreed to acquire Harrogate-based Ellis Bates Financial Advisers, with the transaction completing on 30 September 2024. The deal brings over 3,500 clients and more than £1 billion of AUM to the Skerritts Group (raising group AUM to £3.5 billion) and strengthens Skerritts' presence in the North of England as part of its buy-and-build strategy.

Hub International Acquires Skinner & Company, Inc.

Hub International Limited acquired the assets of Skinner & Company, Inc., a Marietta, Georgia-based commercial insurance and risk management agency. The deal — for undisclosed terms — brings Skinner's construction bond and commercial insurance expertise into Hub's Specialty practice; Todd Skinner and his team will join Hub Gulf South. Skinner & Company was represented by Reagan Consulting.

Stellex Capital Management Acquires J. Skinner Baking Company

Stellex Capital Management, a New York-based private equity firm, has acquired The James Skinner Baking Company (J. Skinner), a leading in-store bakery (ISB) and co-packing baked-goods provider headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska. Stellex said the partnership will fund investments in production capacity expansion, increased automation and new product development to support J. Skinner's growth.

Regimen Equity Partners Acquires Thomas Skinner & Son Ltd.

Regimen Equity Partners has acquired Thomas Skinner & Son Ltd., a 119-year-old, Richmond, British Columbia-headquartered distributor of industrial metalworking equipment serving Western Canada. The transaction represents Regimen's ninth platform investment and follows a generational ownership transition by the Krainer family, with Ross McDonald named president to lead the company post-closing.

TBAuctions Acquires Auksjonen, Bjarøy Group and PS Auction as Summa Equity Joins TBAuctions

TBAuctions will acquire Norwegian online auction platform Auksjonen and appraiser Bjarøy (together the Bjarøy Group) and Swedish online auction platform PS Auction to accelerate its pan‑European online auction platform expansion. Simultaneously, Summa Equity is joining as a minority shareholder in TBAuctions; PS Auction is being divested by Nordic PE firm MVI. The signings were completed on 17 March with a planned closing by the end of April, subject to approvals.
