BPP has acquired Digital Marketing Institute (DMI), a Dublin-founded provider of digital marketing training and a global certification standard, expanding BPP’s offerings into digital marketing education and direct-to-consumer online courses. The acquisition gives BPP ownership of a certification standard, access to a high-growth vertical and a new channel for online course provision to expand into new geographies and markets.

BPP Acquires Firebrand Training

BPP, a UK-based provider of professional and vocational higher education, has acquired Firebrand Training, a specialist IT and digital training business established in 2001. The deal expands BPP's programme portfolio—adding accelerated IT certifications, apprenticeships and bootcamps—and supports its geographic expansion across the UK and continental Europe.

Back2Work Group Acquires Just IT Training

Manchester-based Back2Work Group, backed by Palatine's Impact Fund, has acquired London-based Just IT Training, a provider of IT and digital apprenticeships and skills bootcamps. The deal adds roughly 196 staff and more than £8m of revenue to Back2Work, expanding its apprenticeship and digital training capability and increasing group revenues to over £20m.

BPP Education Group Acquires Estio Training from Palatine Impact Fund

The deal expands BPP’s vocational and digital apprenticeship offering and follows Palatine’s 2018 investment during which Estio significantly grew revenues and learner numbers.

Babington Acquires Majority of PeoplePlus Apprenticeship Business

RJD-backed Babington has agreed terms to acquire the majority of the apprenticeship business from PeoplePlus (part of Staffline Group). The deal brings around 100 employees and nearly 2,000 learners into Babington, expanding its apprenticeship programmes and customer base across England and Scotland.
