Brown & Brown Dealer Services, a division of Brown & Brown, Inc., has acquired substantially all of the assets of First Resource, Inc. First Resource's owners, James Nelson and Lynn Meyer, will continue to lead the business from New Braunfels, Texas, and the deal strengthens Brown & Brown's dealer services capabilities and presence in Texas and the southwest.
