The BUHLMANN Group has acquired Lockwood Partners, a Pasadena, Texas–based distributor of valves, pipes, fittings and flanges, effective retroactively from January 1, 2023. The 36-employee business will expand BUHLMANN's presence in the United States—supporting Gulf Coast petrochemical, midstream and downstream customers for MRO and EPC projects.

Brattle Technologies, a family-owned holding company based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, acquired Lockwood Manufacturing Co., a Livonia, Michigan-based maker of aluminum and steel equipment, in a transaction that closed on August 8, 2025. Founder and prior owner David Lamson sold the business and will join Lockwood's board while Matt Phillips was promoted to CEO to lead the company under Brattle's ownership.

The Macomb Group Inc., a Michigan-based PVF and plumbing supplies distributor, has acquired the operations and real estate of Woodhill Supply Inc., a Willoughby, Ohio-based plumbing/HVAC supply distributor with a second branch in Cleveland. The deal expands Macomb Group’s footprint in Northeast Ohio and adds a large distribution hub (about 300,000 sq. ft.) to improve service and product capabilities for local contractor and industrial customers.
