Lightcast Acquires Gazelle

Lightcast, a KKR-backed labor market data and analytics provider, has acquired Montreal-based business intelligence platform Gazelle (Gazelle.ai). The acquisition will integrate Gazelle's company-level predictive AI and business data into Lightcast's labor analytics products to expand capabilities for economic developers, commercial real estate brokers, and corporate sales teams; financial terms were not disclosed.

The acquisition (announced at ~£82.8m in press coverage) is intended to extend MRI's residential and social-housing capabilities, accelerate Castleton's cloud technology development and expand MRI's scale in the UK and Australian social housing markets.
