    Vaisala has agreed to acquire Speedwell Climate Ltd to expand its subscription-based data offerings and enter the insurance climate risk-transfer market. Speedwell, headquartered in Harpenden, United Kingdom, reported net sales close to GBP 4 million in 2023 and about 24 professionals will transfer to Vaisala; the deal is expected to close in Q4 2024 subject to regulatory approval.
