Caterpillar Inc. has acquired Tangent Energy Solutions, an energy-as-a-service provider headquartered in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. The acquisition brings Tangent’s analytics-driven EaaS platform and software capabilities into Caterpillar’s Electric Power Division to expand digital offerings, improve energy efficiency services, and enable new revenue streams for customers.
