CHA Holdings, Inc. (CHA) has acquired Midwestern Engineers, Inc., an Indiana-based civil and water resources engineering firm headquartered in Loogootee. The acquisition adds Midwestern’s ~45 technical experts and local offices in Indianapolis and Santa Claus to CHA’s existing Indiana teams, expanding CHA’s water, wastewater and stormwater capabilities and regional presence.

CHA Consulting Acquires D'Huy Engineering, Inc.

CHA Consulting, Inc. has acquired D'Huy Engineering, Inc., a Bethlehem, Pennsylvania-based engineering and project management firm with about 100 employees and offices in Scranton, PA and Wilmington, DE. The acquisition — CHA's third in Pennsylvania and the first under its partnership with H.I.G. Capital — expands CHA's program/construction management and water resources capabilities and brings the combined firm's headcount to over 1,800 across 55 offices.

H.I.G. Capital Acquires CHA Consulting from First Reserve

Capital has completed the acquisition of CHA Consulting, Inc., a full-service engineering, design, consulting, and program management firm headquartered in Albany, New York, from First Reserve. The transaction closed January 19, 2024; financial terms were not disclosed. H.I.G. will partner with CHA's existing management to accelerate growth organically and via add-on acquisitions across North America.
