Circumference Group, an operationally focused investment firm, acquired a majority stake in Broadband Development Group (BDG), a Little Rock-based provider of fiber-based commercial broadband and managed Wi-Fi solutions for the multifamily (MDU) market. The investment is intended to support BDG’s continued expansion across high-growth markets in the Southeastern United States and Texas, accelerating growth of its wholesale business model.

CBRE IM said the acquisition will expand its private infrastructure portfolio and enable integration with its middle-mile portfolio company WANRack to accelerate broadband deployment in underserved communities; the deal is expected to close in February 2023 pending regulatory approvals.
