Cloudflare has acquired developer-database startup Outerbase to enhance the developer database experience across Cloudflare Workers and related developer tools. Outerbase’s technology — already built on Cloudflare Workers — will be integrated into Durable Objects, D1, and the Agents SDK to simplify building database-backed and AI-enabled applications on Cloudflare’s network.
