Splunk Inc. has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Flowmill, a Palo Alto–based cloud network observability company that specializes in network performance monitoring using eBPF technology. The acquisition expands Splunk's Observability Suite by adding real-time cloud network telemetry and NPM capabilities; the deal was announced November 24, 2020 and expected to close in Splunk's fiscal fourth quarter.

Snowflake to Acquire Observe to Deliver AI-Powered Observability at Enterprise Scale

Financial terms were not disclosed.
