CME Group to Acquire EEX European Dairy Business

CME Group agreed to transition EEX’s European dairy business to CME, including European butter and skimmed milk powder indices underlying existing futures. EEX will phase out its dairy business and support the transfer of the indices before the end of 2027, while existing dairy futures trading at EEX remains available for listed maturities.
